About The Position

Odyssey Systems has an exciting opportunity for a Senior Acquisition Program Management Professional supporting the Air Force Life Cycle Management Center Armament Directorate Disruptive Futures division (AFLCMC/EBZ). This position provides acquisition and program management support across the full life cycle of air armament and conventional munitions systems, enabling rapid, data-driven decision making in support of mission-critical programs. This is a full-time, onsite position at Eglin Air Force Base, FL. The selected candidate will serve as a recognized authority in DoD systems acquisition and program management. This position requires independent execution of high-visibility efforts and authoritative recommendations to senior Government leadership. The Senior Acquisition Program Management Professional will lead development of statutory and regulatory acquisition documentation, JCIDS requirements products, DoDAF architecture, risk management processes, source selection support, and enterprise-level reporting while overseeing junior personnel as required.

Requirements

  • Must be a US citizen
  • Must have a current Secret clearance and be able to obtain and maintain a Top Secret clearance
  • Bachelor’s degree and 20 years of relevant experience; OR Master's degree and 10 years of relevant experience
  • Expert knowledge of DoDI 5000.02 / 5000.75 acquisition framework
  • JCIDS requirements development and traceability
  • DoDAF 2.2 architecture development
  • Risk Management (AFPAM 63-128, RI3 Guidebook)
  • Integrated Master Planning and Scheduling (IMP/IMS)
  • Business Case Analysis and trade study development

Responsibilities

  • Plan, evaluate, and implement acquisition strategies in accordance with DoDI 5000.02 and 5000.75 guidance.
  • Develop, maintain, and update acquisition reports including Monthly Acquisition Reports (MAR), Defense Acquisition Executive Summary (DAES), Selected Acquisition Reports (SAR), and Acquisition Program Baselines (APB).
  • Utilize enterprise systems including DAMIR, EDA, PMRT, CRIS, and other DoD-mandated tools.
  • Develop executive dashboards and reporting tools to support Government decision-making. Conduct qualitative and quantitative program analysis to assess cost, schedule, performance, and risk.
  • Develop and manage Integrated Master Plans (IMP) and Integrated Master Schedules (IMS). Support and advise the Government during source selection activities in a non-decision-making advisory role.
  • Develop, maintain, and facilitate program risk management processes in accordance with AFPAM 63-128 and the RI3 Guidebook, including execution of risk boards and working groups.
  • Support implementation and execution of Agile acquisition and management processes.
  • Develop Business Case Analyses, trade studies, Analyses of Alternatives (AoA) guidance and documentation, milestone decision briefings (including 2366a/b certifications), ESIS and ASP briefings.
  • Assist with development of Capability Based Assessments (CBA), Initial Capabilities Documents (ICD), Capability Development Documents (CDD), and Capability Production Documents (CPD).
  • Maintain requirements traceability using DOORS, SysML/Cameo, or equivalent tools and maintain persistent JCIDS data models.
  • Develop and review DoDAF 2.2 (or later) architecture products and related views. Manage configuration control and lifecycle data requirements, including CDRLs and DIDs. Provide FMS case management support.
  • Prepare briefings, graphics, and documentation in direct support of acquisition program management functions.
  • Provide rapid response support to accommodate short-notice program direction and workload surges.
