Requirements

  • Bachelor s degree in accounting
  • 3+ years of relevant work experience
  • Proficient skills in Microsoft Excel and ERP systems (Sage X3, Sage 100, Sage 500) preferred
  • Self-starter, motivated
  • Strong analytical skills with high level of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Bilingual (English-Spanish) is a Plus

Responsibilities

  • Oversee and support the cash reconciliation process , ensuring accuracy and timely resolution of discrepancies.
  • Maintain and review general ledger accounts , ensuring all transactions are posted accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Assist in the monthly and annual close processes , including preparation of journal entries, reconciliations (prepaid, accruals, month-end allocations, and bank accounts), and the generation of financial statements.
  • Provide in-depth analysis of financial results during month-end close to support decision-making and reporting.
  • Manage and reconcile prepaid and accrual schedules , including posting appropriate entries and ensuring proper documentation.
  • Reconcile sales activity reports to ensure consistency and accuracy of revenue-related data.
  • Prepare and deliver ad hoc financial reports and support special projects as assigned.
  • Continuously seek and recommend process improvements to enhance the efficiency of accounting operations and strengthen financial reporting accuracy.
