About The Position

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Sr. Accountant to join our team. The ideal candidate will assist with month-end closing processes, record journal entries, and provide a detailed review and analysis. You will prepare monthly account reconciliations, perform financial variance analysis, and ensure compliance with GAAP while taking ownership of assigned GL accounts.

Requirements

Strong accounting skills with expertise in general ledger and reconciliation.
Proficiency in month-end processes and financial reporting.
Experience with financial statement preparation and bank reconciliation.
Familiarity with accounts payable and receivable processes.
Proficient in SAP and audit procedures.
Bachelor's or Associate's degree in Accounting or Finance.
At least 4 years of general ledger experience, or 2+ years with audit experience.

Nice To Haves

External audit experience is a plus.
Experience with SAP is an advantage.

Responsibilities

Assist with month-end closing processes and record journal entries.
Prepare monthly account reconciliations and ensure accuracy.
Perform monthly financial variance analysis, including research and documentation.
Take ownership of assigned GL accounts and ensure compliance with GAAP.
Assist with preparation of audit schedules and respond to audit requests.
Establish productive relationships within finance and other departments.
Maintain financial records in compliance with corporate policies and procedures.
Act as a business partner with management to provide recommendations for improving financial processes.
Analyze current processes and make recommendations for process improvement.
