We are seeking a Senior Accountant to join our Corporate Accounting team, focusing on Domestic and International Wholesale revenue, Accounts receivable including all Accounts Receivable reserves, certain other corporate functions including distribution centers, and financial reporting. This role will ensure accurate reserve calculations, support month-end close, and help maintain compliance with controls and accounting standards in the previous referenced areas. This role reports to the Corporate Accounting Manager and is based in our Buckhead, Atlanta office, in a hybrid work environment.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance required.
  • Strong knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) required.
  • Three (3) to five (5) years of accounting experience required.

  • Highly proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and familiarity working with General Ledger applications; experience with SAP and Hyperion Financial Management (HFM) a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure timely and accurate financial statement in accordance with U.S. GAAP close by managing assigned closing tasks.
  • Analyze, record, and validate key judgmental reserves and accruals primarily related to Accounts Receivable, ensuring compliance with company policies and accounting standards.
  • Prepare and post journal entries for key accounts, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
  • Reconcile Accounts Receivable reserve accounts, including customer discounts, allowances, bad debt, and chargebacks; collaborate with business partners to resolve discrepancies.
  • Work closely with AR team, Enterprise Data Management team (EDP), IT and Sales Executives to investigate and resolve billing discrepancies and chargebacks.
  • Owner of key SOX controls related to wholesale revenue, related reductions to revenue and Accounts Receivable.
  • Prepare and distribute monthly to relevant business partners Wholesale revenue and margin related sales flash with comparatives to latest forecast and prior year.
  • Monthly wholesale revenue and margin reconciliations between the order entry system, Omnia, SAP, and BI tools such as tableau.
  • Responsible for distribution of monthly reports such as Wholesale cost center reporting and Gross to Net Sales reporting.
  • Perform monthly closing tasks related to financial close of the distribution centers including reconciliations, accruals, and variance analysis.
  • Cross-functional support of controllership as needed.
  • Prepare and present quarterly consolidated Accounts Receivable reserve analysis to the CFO and senior executives, providing insights, key drivers, and financial impacts.
  • Deliver timely quarter-end reports to the SEC reporting team to support external filings such as Top Customers.
  • Perform quarterly Accounts Receivable flux analysis for management.
  • Extract, analyze, and interpret financial data from various systems to support reporting and business decisions.
  • Perform specialized analysis at management request.
  • Identify and implement process improvements within corporate finance to enhance reporting efficiency.
  • Develop and maintain standard reports and ad-hoc reports as needed.
  • Ensure all closing tasks are completed on schedule and proactively communicate potential issues.
  • Maintain and update business process documentation to reflect current workflows.
  • Build and maintain strong working relationships across finance, sales, IT, FPA, and operations teams.
  • Support internal and external audit requests, providing documentation as needed.
  • Participate in special projects and initiatives to support the broader corporate finance team.
