About The Position
The Sr. Accountant position at Sezzle, Inc. involves preparation and/or review of the accounting team’s monthly financial close and related reporting activities, ensuring adherence to US GAAP. The role includes leading the Company’s allowance for loan loss process by preparing monthly estimates and entries, creating internal reporting, and executing internal controls related to the process. The accountant will compile financial information for external auditors and controls documentation, reconcile financial discrepancies by collecting and analyzing account information, and oversee and prepare proper controls over the Company’s significant business processes, identifying opportunities for process improvement. Additionally, the role supports the overall Finance function with ad hoc reporting and projects as needed. Telecommuting from anywhere in the U.S. is permissible.
