Responsibilities

  • Supports the organization's accounting activities, including financial record keeping and reporting.
  • Prepares, analyzes, and maintains records of the organization's financial activity in accordance with GAAP and compliance with Section 404 of the Sarbanes-Oxley Act.
  • Creates and evaluates reports on financial performance for internal and external use.
  • Completes month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing activities related to foreign exchange, cash management, and tax.
  • Prepares appropriate audit work papers for closing activities.
  • Supports and assists junior accounting staff in the development of their professional skills.
