About The Position

The Senior Accountant, Financial Reporting will perform professional level accounting work in the compilation, and the reporting of the Company's global financial records. This role involves identifying cash vs non-cash items to properly prepare the Company's Consolidated Statement of Cashflows, which is a highly complex financial document requiring advanced accounting knowledge. The position also includes preparing standalone financial statements utilizing OneStream reporting, providing significant support for the Company’s annual audit, maintaining financial records, and preparing various financial reports and analyses.

Requirements

  • BA/BS Degree (4-year) in Accounting / Finance.
  • 4-6 years related work experience, preferably with Big Four public accounting experience.
  • Solid understanding of basic accounting principles and theory.
  • Familiarity with internal controls and procedures.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to multitask and work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Knowledge of complex computer systems/financial applications (e.g., JD Edwards, Oracle, SAP).
  • Solid skills with Microsoft Office Products (Word, Outlook, Excel).
  • Certified Public Accountant (CPA) preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Identify cash vs non-cash items to prepare the Company's Consolidated Statement of Cashflows.
  • Prepare standalone financial statements utilizing OneStream reporting.
  • Provide support for the Company’s annual audit of its consolidated financial statements.
  • Maintain financial records and record monthly journal entries related to intercompany positions and global sponsorship revenue recognition.
  • Run the Company’s Consolidated Balance Sheet in OneStream.
  • Prepare journal entries for global posting of Softrax-system sponsorship revenue activity.
  • Compile a global accounts receivable aging analysis from subsidiary submissions.
  • Prepare Consolidated PPE rollforward & related capital expenditure reporting.
  • Prepare Census Filings on at least a quarterly basis.
  • Provide support by compiling various financial statements and perform analytical reviews.
