About The Position

The Sr Accountant - Financial Reporting is responsible for the accounting, reconciliation, and reporting processes for the company’s leased real estate. This role plays a pivotal part in financial close cycles, audit readiness, and regulatory filings. This role requires collaboration across HR, Finance, and Internal Audit to ensure completeness, accuracy, and compliance within a high-performance accounting function.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or equivalent experience
• Strong accounting (GAAP) skills
• Proficiency in MS Excel
• 3+ years of accounting experience

Nice To Haves

• Masters of Accountancy
• Public accounting experience is strongly preferred.
• CPA or working towards CPA licensing.
• Experience with SEC reporting requirements

Responsibilities

• Lead preparation of financial statements and disclosures in accordance with U.S. GAAP and SEC requirements (10-Q, 10-K, S-1)
• Support IPO readiness activities, including drafting and reviewing S-1 filings, audit coordination, and control enhancements
• Ensure GAAP-compliant accounting of leases
• Partner with external auditors to ensure clean audits and timely filings
• Develop and maintain internal reporting packages for PE sponsors and executive leadership
• Assist with research and recommend changes in accounting for new literature related to US GAAP, SOX, or SEC compliance
• Evaluate and enhance accounting processes for efficiency and compliance
• Fulfill the business partnership role for financial reporting, with a focus on profit and process improvement, providing support to the management team and cross-functional and cross-divisional business partners
• Other duties as assigned
