This is for a future opportunity. MANTECH seeks a motivated, career and customer-oriented SQL Server Data Warehouse Architect to join our team. This is a remote role that may require occasional travel to Tampa, FL.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, Data Science, or a related STEM discipline, or 8 years of related experience may be accepted in lieu of the degree.
  • Proven experience developing and maintaining data models and data dictionaries.
  • Proven experience working with and implementing data quality checks to identify errors and address outdated business rules.
  • Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft SQL Server.
  • Proven data warehouse and ETL experience, including data warehouse design.
  • Proven experience with SQL Server Migration Assistant for Oracle (SSMA) or similar tool.
  • Data migration experience with SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS).
  • CompTIA Security+ certification.

Nice To Haves

  • Oracle database experience.
  • Experience with TIBCO EBX master data management.
  • Experience converting OBIEE reports to Power BI.
  • Experience implementing Federal financial management systems such as OneStream, Hyperion, or other Corporate Performance Management platforms.
  • Master's degree in business administration (MBA) or a related field.
  • Advanced certifications, such as those related to SQL Server, data warehouses, business intelligence, and Agile methodologies.

Responsibilities

  • Design, architect, and build the required structure to store and maintain financial and budgetary data.
  • Provide technical database design, administration, and maintenance functions necessary for the development of databases that will contain all Planning, Programming, Budgeting, and Execution (PPBE) data utilized by the enterprise.
  • Migrate data from Oracle data warehouse to a SQL Server based data warehouse.
  • Configure and build the databases and data warehouses in Microsoft SQL Server.
  • Create Data Migration Plan and execute the plan to migrate budget data from 2017 to current, from Oracle into the SQL Server data warehouse.
  • Provide support to other team members responsible for creating business intelligence dashboards and reports.
  • Data analysis, problem solving, investigation and creative thinking with large amounts of data supporting a variety of scenarios.
