About The Position

As a SQL Power BI Engineer at Synechron, you will collaborate with various stakeholders to address complex technical requirements in a fast-paced environment. Your role will involve managing multiple engagements, resolving intricate problems, and providing ongoing support for reconciliation applications, particularly FIS Intellimatch and Data Integrity Manager. You will leverage your expertise in SQL and Power BI to develop reports, analyze data, and ensure data integrity across financial processes.

Requirements

  • Proven experience working in an Agile environment.
  • Mandatory previous experience with reconciliation products such as FIS Intellimatch / Data Integrity Manager.
  • Strong background in reconciliation processes and financial data management.
  • Proficient in MS SQL Server, including complex database queries, stored procedures, functions, and triggers.
  • Advanced proficiency in data analysis tools, particularly Microsoft Excel.
  • Experience with data visualization tools, specifically Power BI.
  • Excellent documentation skills for procedures, requirements, and testing efforts.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to ensure project goals are met.
  • Strong analytical skills with a keen attention to detail.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Self-motivated with a strong sense of ownership over assigned tasks.
  • Experience in production support, particularly with reconciliation applications, is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Configure and provide ongoing support for reconciliations in the FIS Intellimatch / Data Integrity Manager applications.
  • Develop and manage complex SQL queries, stored procedures, functions, and triggers in MS SQL Server.
  • Create and manage reports and subscriptions within Power BI to facilitate data visualization and insights.
  • Analyze large datasets for testing and regression purposes, ensuring data integrity and accuracy.
  • Document procedures, requirements, and testing efforts to maintain clear and comprehensive records.
  • Collaborate with development, operations, reconciliation, and project teams to prioritize and implement project requirements effectively.
  • Provide production support for reconciliation applications, troubleshooting issues as they arise.
