Baesman Group, a nationally recognized provider of direct-to-customer marketing strategy and multi-channel execution, is seeking an experienced SQL Database Developer to join our Information Technology Team. The SQL Database Developer will work within a small IT Team to serve internal and external clients for customer loyalty and engagement programs, operations/manufacturing systems, and in-house/custom-built applications. This role is critical in designing, creating, modifying, maintaining, monitoring, securing, and optimizing database structures including tables, indexes, views, and stored procedures. The Database Developer will be responsible for daily complex ad-hoc query writing, SQL job monitoring and processing, ETL development, report writing, and MS BI management. This position also provides the primary report writing capability within the organization for production management reporting and data extraction activities from various systems (both internal and external). The SQL Database Developer will help facilitate data-based quality control efforts for data coming in to, and out of, our and our client's systems. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills and be a fast learner, as the role requires daily interaction with the Lead Application Developer, internal teams of account managers and data analysts, and directly with external clients. Fluency in English is required, along with strong personal and professional skills. The role is expected to interact in meetings, ask insightful questions, learn quickly, and be on-camera when working remotely. This is a hybrid role with two days spent in our Columbus, OH headquarters, and the remaining three days in a work-from-home remote setting.
