Our work depends on TS/SCI cleared SQL Database Analyst joining our team to support our intelligence customer in Springfield, VA.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in a Computer Science or related technical discipline, or the equivalent combination of education, technical certifications or training, or work experience.
  • 10+ years of related database analysis and/or administration experience.
  • SQL experience required.
  • Oracle database administration a plus.
  • CompTIA Security+ or equivalent recommended.
  • Experience in Oracle or SQL administration/tuning; including knowledge and implementation of database high-availability solutions.
  • Experience in monitoring, creating, and managing SQL server agent alerts.
  • Experience with Database backup, restore, migration, and Database snapshot technologies/strategies.
  • Knowledge on how to build/maintain efficient database table structures for both transactional and warehouse data.
  • Knowledge of Oracle 19c administration and performance tuning.
  • Candidates must hold a TS/SCI.

Responsibilities

  • Analyze, design, develop, implement, and support SQL infrastructure deployment and management.
  • Manage the functionality and efficiency of a group of servers running on one or more operating systems.
  • Maintain the integrity and security of servers and systems.
  • Set up administrator and service accounts.
  • Maintain system documentation.
  • Interact with users and evaluate vendor products.
  • Develop and monitor policies and standards for allocation related to the use of computing resources.
  • Develop and implement testing strategies and document results.
  • Provide advice on performance tuning and training to end-users.
  • Maintain current knowledge of relevant technologies as assigned.
  • Participate in special projects as required.
