Lockheed Martin values your technical skills, training, education and background. The Waterfront SPY Radar engineer will support the Aegis Test Team at Pascagoula Mississippi. You will be responsible for preparing, reviewing, and conducting tests to ensure the SPY radar is operational and meets navy standards. Requirements

Ability to comprehend and understand naval work packages and technical documentations including the ability to read technical publication manuals.
US Citizenship is required. Candidate must have an Interim DoD Secret Security Clearance prior to starting this position. Must be able to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret Security Clearance.
Work will be conducted at Naval bases, shipyards, and other facilities. The ability to work in an industrial environment and shipboard where access if often by stairs, ladders, and in confined spaces, is required.
Occasionally underway shipboard support may be required for up to one week at a time.
Some travel may be required

Nice To Haves

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineer, Physics, or related discipline.
Experience with AESA radar systems.
Experience with US Navy radar systems.
Experience with Aegis Weapon System.

Responsibilities

Operate RSC Console.
Support Aegis Test Team ensuring the radar is available .
Support Aegis Weapon System lead engineer in coordination of system availability and test schedule.
Support senior Spy Engineer
