About The Position

The Supervisor Patient Scheduling oversees the day-to-day activities of the
scheduling office.  This position is responsible for supervising staff and
workload to ensure that work is performed accurately and timely.  The Supervisor
serves as a subject matter expert, assisting staff with resolving issues and
enhancing processes.

Requirements

• Minimum:  High school diploma or GED
• Minimum: Three (3) years of experience working in patient access or similar role.

Nice To Haves

• Preferred:  Associates degree or higher
• Preferred:  Three (3) years of experience working in patient access or similar role with at least one (1) year being in a supervisory position. Experience supervising remote staff.
• Minimum:  None

Responsibilities

• Hire, onboard, and manage the performance of assigned team members.
• Analyze call volumes and work queues and distributes work to ensure all work is performed timely and accurately.
• Perform a wide range of complete duties related to scheduling patient appointments and services.
• Monitor work queues, reports, dashboards and KPIs to ensure the team is meeting expectations and goals are reached or surpassed.
• Reviews procedures and practices for streamlining or automation, cost savings and operational improvements.
• Adhere to all department and organization policies and procedures as well as all state and federal laws and requirements.
• Other duties as assigned.
