Responsibilities

  • Oversee the daily operation of the Environmental Services Department in multiple locations and/or campuses.
  • Interview, hire, counsel, discipline, and recommend Team Members for promotions.
  • Train and develop Team Leads and Team Members to ensure high quality cleaning standards.
  • Conduct quality assurance inspections and track team member progress.
  • Conduct weekly huddle meetings and provide ongoing feedback on performance.
  • Manage daily operations, problem solve, and allocate staff properly.
  • Ensure adherence to policies, productivity standards, and safety guidelines.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma/GED with nine (9) years of experience including five (5) years of environmental services or housekeeping (preferably in a hospital setting).
  • Two (2) years customer service experience.
  • Two (2) years Supervisory or Project lead experience.
  • Valid Driver's License required, must obtain Florida Driver's License within 6 months of employment.
  • Evidence of a good driving record and maintain a good record per Moffitt policy.
  • OR AA/AS degree plus a minimum of seven (7) years' experience as stated above.
  • BA/BS degree with five (5) years of environmental service or housekeeping experience (preferably in a hospital setting), and two (2) years of experience as a Supervisor, Lead or Project Lead.
