About The Position

Ahern is seeking qualified applicants for the Sprinkler Fitter Apprenticeship program to work within the Stevens Point, Wausau, and Waupaca, WI areas. This is a 5-year apprenticeship program working side-by-side with a journeyman sprinkler fitter installing automatic fire protection systems. Your employment relationship will be governed by a collective bargaining agreement. Apprentices will complete on-the-job training and 5 years of corresponding coursework toward becoming a Journeyman Sprinkler Fitter. Upon completion of the apprenticeship program, Journeymen earn over double the apprentice hourly rate!

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Clean driving record to operate company vehicles.
• Ability to travel for the position.
• Pass a drug screen and physical.

Responsibilities
