About The Position
Make your mark on Jewish student life by joining Queens Hillel as the Springboard Fellow. You will build one on one relationships with students, plan and execute engaging events and programs around campus, and help inspire students to make a commitment to Jewish life. As commuters, Jewish students in Queens have different needs and demands on their time than their residential student counterparts. They often have familial responsibilities, jobs that fund their education and/or contribute to their household income, and they often spend significant time commuting. At Queens Hillel, we believe that every Jewish student deserves the opportunity to engage in innovative and dynamic Jewish collegiate life that supports all of their needs and desires. As a Springboard Innovation Fellow, you will work with a team of dedicated professionals to support our holistically minded approach to successfully innovate commuter student life on campus and at home, and support one of largest and most diverse Jewish student communities in the nation. You'll wake up each day (or at least most) and be genuinely excited and enthusiastic about creating an inviting place that inspires students to explore, experience, and create vibrant Jewish lives. This is so much more than your average 9-to-5.
