About The Position

Be a part of the team responsible for deploying and sustaining the manufacturing of this life-saving equipment. You will work in a dynamic environment with a cross-functional team including R&D, engineering, production, quality assurance, quality control, purchasing, supply chain logistics, and several others. This role focuses on applying Design for Manufacturability and Assembly concepts along with developing real-world skills among our engineers, software developers, microbiologists, and numerous other professionals.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma, GED or Equivalent.
  • Must currently be enrolled in a degree program, Associates, Bachelor's or Master's working towards a degree in any of the following disciplines: Computer Science, Electrical, Computer, Mechanical, Biomedical, Industrial, Manufacturing, or Mechatronics/Robotics Engineering.
  • Ability to work cross-functionally allowing for better collaboration and communication when working across teams to achieve shared objectives
  • Effective verbal communication skills
  • Build and maintain positive, productive interactions with colleagues
  • Reach mutually beneficial agreements through effective communication and compromise
  • Participate in a way that enhances team performance and cohesion.

Responsibilities

  • Design and Development: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and test medical equipment, devices, and systems. Your goal will be to improve patient outcomes and enhance healthcare delivery.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with other engineers to create innovative solutions according to specifications.
  • Testing and Validation: Participate in rigorous testing of products to ensure safety and efficacy before deployment.
  • Manufacturing Support: Monitor the entire manufacturing process, from concept design to product implementation. Activities include designing product improvements, developing evaluation methods, coordinating initial production, and creating manufacturing diagrams.
  • Perform all work in compliance with company quality procedures and standards.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
