Spring Sports Assistant Coach/Activity Leader - Springfield High School
About The Position
Springfield Public Schools seeks outstanding candidates for assistant coaches for the following Spring sports at Springfield High School: Baseball Softball Track & Field Golf Tennis Activity Leader Successful candidates will possess the following qualifications: Coaching experience at the high school level in the sport/activity for which your are applying; Knowledge of and experience in the sport/activity for which you are applying; Ability and experience working with high school students; Ability and experience working with parents, fellow coaches and school district staff; Effective and positive communication skills; Ability to work within school district guidelines and budget; Valid First Aid card; Availability for daily practices and matches; Fundraising knowledge and/or capabilities; Understanding of OSAA rules and regulations; Good organizational skills; Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen and criminal background check; Ability and commitment to practice cultural competency and demonstrate respect for diversity. Salary: Stipend will be based on the type of sport/activity and your previous paid assistant coaching/activity leading experience in the sport/activity for which you are applying.
