About The Position

The Spring Intern in Employee Engagement at AEG offers college students a unique opportunity to gain real-world experience in the sports and live entertainment industry. Interns will work closely with the Employee Engagement Department, focusing on building corporate culture and enhancing employee engagement through various internal communication projects and events. This internship emphasizes internal communications and provides exposure to multiple roles within the department over a 2.5-week rotation.

Requirements

• Currently pursuing a degree in a relevant field.
• Passion for sports and live entertainment.
• Highly organized, resourceful, and dependable with excellent interpersonal skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Fluent in Microsoft Office - EXCEL, WORD, and PowerPoint.
• Ability to multi-task and work well under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Own a number of internal communication projects, including overseeing reoccurring weekly features on the company intranet and creating original content.
• Assist the internal communications manager with the execution of communication plans for Spring heritage months.
• Support event logistics for virtual and in-person events, including pulling RSVP lists, setting up and breaking down events, and booking conference rooms.
• Assist with curating and posting company content for employees using SharePoint and AEG Backstage (company intranet).
• Perform a company intranet audit to ensure all pages are up to date.
• Assist the Employee Engagement Events Specialist with various tasks related to the AEG Summer Picnic.
• Help Employee Engagement team members on a variety of projects as they arise.
