Your opportunity We’re looking for a Electrical Engineer Intern to join our Connected Communities Team in Peachtree City, GA. You’ll be responsible for designing and supporting our outdoor and sports lighting products. We’re on the lookout for forward-thinking innovators with a passion for sustainability. Requirements
- Currently in pursuit of a Bachelors' or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering
- Demonstrate basic electrical design approaches and capabilities
- Have basic knowledge of electrical circuits and components
- Be able to multitask
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without current or future company sponsorship needs.
Responsibilities
- Prototype and build Proof-of-Concepts
- Test and evaluate lighting fixtures and various critical electrical/mechanical components
- Write ECNs (Engineering Change Notice) to document changes to products
- Support post-sales technical issues and resolve quality issues related to components or manufacturing; troubleshoot field related technical issues
- Write executive summaries to communicate issues and resolutions to management
- Coordinate with manufacturing and implement factory tests
