About The Position
As a Spring 2026 Tax Intern at Sikich, you will be joining a dynamic and diverse team that is committed to professional growth and innovation. Sikich is a global leader in Accounting, Advisory, and Technical professional services, and this internship offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the field of taxation. You will be involved in preparing various federal and state tax returns for individuals and entities, filing and organizing tax work papers, and developing a solid understanding of tax laws and regulations. Additionally, you will have the chance to work on special projects as assigned, which will further enhance your learning experience and professional development. The internship is designed for students who are currently in their sophomore, junior, or senior year of college, and who are engaged in an accounting, cost accounting, or taxation program. You will be expected to commit a minimum of 30 hours per week for part-time or 40 hours for full-time work. This role is ideal for those interested in pursuing CPA credentials and who have a passion for tax return preparation. You will work collaboratively with a diverse team, leveraging your skills in Microsoft Suite and your excellent verbal and written communication abilities to contribute effectively to the team's success.
