About The Position

As a Tax Intern, you will gain insight into the public accounting profession and build a solid foundation for your career. With a Cherry Bekaert internship, you will work for multiple supervisors on a variety of client engagements, apply accounting knowledge while performing client work using Firm technology, shadow Tax professionals of all levels, participate in team building and training initiatives, present on a marketing or research project, and attend social functions such as happy hours, lunches, community service projects, and other outings.

Requirements

• Juniors or seniors enrolled in an accredited accounting or related program, two years from graduation
• Cumulative GPA of 3.0/4.0 or above preferred, but not required
• Proficiency with computers and spreadsheet software programs
• Ability to travel to client sites as needed, including frequent same-day travel

Responsibilities

• Work for multiple supervisors on a variety of client engagements
• Apply accounting knowledge while performing client work using Firm technology
