About The Position

BPC’s J. Ronald Terwilliger Center for Housing Policy was launched to support bipartisan policies that help realize the goal of a decent, safe, and affordable home for every American family. BPC’s housing team informs and engages policymakers through in-depth and timely research, virtual and in-person events, technical assistance, and more.

Requirements

  • Must be enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate school.
  • Strong research and writing skills.
  • Efficient worker with ability to multi-task.
  • Ability to communicate clearly and effectively.
  • Strong interest in housing policy, as well as economic, finance, and community development issues.

Responsibilities

  • Work with Center staff on writing and research.
  • Assist in event planning.
  • Track news and congressional activity.
  • Engage in blogging and communications activities.
  • Assist with relevant projects on disaster response and transportation/infrastructure policy.

Benefits

  • Interns will receive a $3,000 stipend for ten weeks of work.
  • Opportunity to work directly with project analysts and staff.
