We are currently looking for a Process Engineer Coop/Intern at our Belvidere, NJ office. The 2026 dsm-firmenich Spring-Summer Coop/Internship Program will run from January 5, 2026 to August 14, 2026. Working Hours: Monday – Friday, 7:00am – 4:00pm. Join our Health, Nutrition and Care team as an coop/intern and gain invaluable professional experience at a Vitamin Manufacturing site. Requirements

  • Currently working on completion of a Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering, Biomedical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering.
  • Candidates must be available to work full-time on-site beginning on January 5, 2026 to August 14, 2026.
  • Strong organizational, problem-solving, and analytical skills; able to manage priorities and workflow.
  • Versatility, flexibility, and a willingness to work within constantly changing priorities with enthusiasm.

Responsibilities

  • Gain an understanding of the plant, processes, and equipment by working with a diverse group of functional areas, such as Safety, Health, & Environment (SHE), Quality, Improve Plant Engineering, Operations, and more.
  • Learn about continuous improvement and apply new manufacturing 4.0 techniques like advanced analytics and digital tools.
  • Apply knowledge gained in the classroom to a plant processing business environment for vitamin manufacturing.

Benefits

  • Hourly rate of $23.00 - $26.00 per hour, dependent on factors including location, education, training, specific skills, and years of experience.
