About The Position

AMDA College of the Performing Arts is seeking organized and detail-oriented students to join the Academic Systems & Scheduling team for the Spring 2026 semester. Student Workers in this role support the work of the Academic Systems department, including assisting with course content setup and organization within AMDA’s learning management system. This position works closely with the Instructional Designer and requires attention to detail, organization, and the ability to follow structured processes. The Academic Systems & Scheduling Student Worker supports course setup and content organization in the learning management system and assists the Instructional Designer with academic systems-related projects. This role reports to the Academic Systems leadership team and requires strong organizational skills, computer proficiency, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

Requirements

  • Currently enrolled AMDA student for the Spring 2026 semester (Employment in this department is open to 2nd-8th semester students)
  • Minimum 3.0 GPA
  • Strong computer skills, including data entry
  • Experience with Microsoft Office Suite and Google Drive applications
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work professionally and confidentially with faculty and staff
  • Ability to work within a team environment
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to learn new systems and follow detailed instructions
  • Must be enrolled for the Spring 2026 semester
  • This position is limited to students who are eligible to participate in the Federal Work-Study (FWS) program
  • Student employees are paid minimum wage in accordance with applicable state and local law
  • Work schedules are arranged around academic commitments
  • Student Worker positions are hired on a semester-to-semester basis and continued employment is not guaranteed beyond the current term

Responsibilities

  • Support the Instructional Designer with course content setup in the learning management system
  • Follow step-by-step guides to clean up imported course content, including fixing formatting, organizing materials, and ensuring consistency
  • Perform data entry and content updates in academic systems
  • Assist with academic systems and scheduling-related projects as assigned
  • Complete other duties as assigned
