About The Position

The Liberty County Board of Commissioners is currently seeking reliable and safety-conscious individuals to join our team as a Spray Truck Operator within the Mosquito Control Department. This position plays an important role in protecting public health and enhancing outdoor comfort for our community. This is a seasonal part-time position working April to November. The typical work schedule 6:30 - 11:00 PM, several evenings during the week.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Less than one (1) year of related experience required.
• Possession of a valid Georgia Class C driver’s license with an acceptable driving record.

Responsibilities

• Drives a spray truck on an assigned route and operates spray system to apply pesticides.
• Conducts inspections of assigned equipment/vehicle and performs basic maintenance as needed.
• Communicates professionally with residents when necessary.
• Follows all safety guidelines, environmental regulations, and department procedures.
• Refills spray tank with chemicals as needed.
• Refills truck with fuel as needed.
• Maintains routine work records.
• Performs related duties as assigned.
