We are seeking an experienced Spray Technician to join our team at a high-end residential landscaping company in Arizona. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of turf, tree, and ornamental pest and disease management, and will take pride in maintaining the pristine quality of our luxury landscape properties. This position requires attention to detail, professionalism, and a commitment to safety and excellence in all aspects of landscape care.

Requirements

  • Minimum 2–3 years of experience in landscape spray applications or plant health care, preferably in high-end residential environments.
  • Arizona Pest Control Applicator License (or ability to obtain within 90 days of employment).
  • Strong knowledge of Arizona-specific plant species, turf types, and local pest and disease pressures.
  • Ability to read and interpret pesticide labels and safety data sheets (SDS).
  • Working knowledge of safe chemical handling, PPE use, and proper storage procedures.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently or as part of a team.
  • Valid Arizona driver’s license with a clean driving record.
  • Excellent communication and time management skills.

Responsibilities

  • Apply fertilizers, herbicides, insecticides, and fungicides to turf, trees, and ornamental plantings according to established schedules and label requirements.
  • Diagnose plant health issues including pests, weeds, and diseases, and recommend appropriate treatments.
  • Mix and calibrate spray equipment to ensure accurate and safe application rates.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed records of all applications, including materials used, areas treated, and weather conditions.
  • Inspect and monitor properties for pest activity and overall plant health.
  • Ensure all applications comply with state and local regulations as well as company safety policies.
  • Maintain spray equipment, vehicles, and tools in clean and working condition.
  • Communicate effectively with property managers, supervisors, and clients regarding service schedules, treatments, and results.
  • Provide exceptional customer service and uphold the company’s reputation for excellence and professionalism on every property.
