About The Position

The position involves performing chemical applications on the golf course, including fertilizing tees, greens, and fairways, as well as applying chemicals on the greens. The role requires routine safety inspections on all spraying equipment and maintaining compliance with chemical storage and mixing regulations. The individual will also track chemical inventory and ensure a pleasant visit for each guest while maintaining effective guest relations.

Requirements

• 1 to 2 years experience in golf course maintenance.
• Excellent people and communication skills.
• Proven experience providing golf course maintenance and outstanding customer service.
• Willingness to learn and perform new golf maintenance service programs.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Attention to detail, drive, and motivation.
• Flexibility with schedule, including evenings and weekend work.

Responsibilities

• Performs routine safety inspections on all spraying equipment.
• Reads, understands, and keeps current with chemical labels and Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS).
• Compiles preliminary reports of pesticide usage for the golf course superintendent.
• Maintains chemical storage and mixing areas in compliance with regulations.
• Responsible for the safety and direction of chemical handlers and/or helpers.
• Tracks chemical inventory.
• Ensures a pleasant visit for each guest and maintains effective guest relations.
• Performs special projects delegated by management.
• Stays updated on latest developments pertinent to the department.
