About The Position

We are currently seeking a 1 st Shift Painter A (Spray Painter) for our new paint system at our Construction Equipment facility in Salina, KS. This position works Monday - Thursday from 6:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., plus overtime on Fridays, as required. Primary Duties and Responsibilities: Paint parts to required specifications Use paint gun, ladder, air gun and any other tools necessary to perform the job Follow all Great Plains and OSHA safety regulations Wear prescribed safety and PPE as required Other duties may be assigned that require other qualifications, physical demands, and/or work environment

Requirements

• Must have specific vision abilities to include close vision, color vision, peripheral vision and depth perception
• Ability to physically perform the job
• Ability to pass the required respirator test to wear a paint respirator
• Ability to follow inventory control procedures
• Ability to give strong attention to detail and stay on-task
• Have a good understanding of team concepts and be a strong team player
• Ability to safely use hand and power tools; ability to read blueprints and tape measure, when needed

Nice To Haves

• Knowledge of paint processes helpful
