Job Description POSITION SUMMARY The Product Support Specialist – High Pressure Spray Foam supports operational teams and branch locations through hands-on training, technical troubleshooting, and development of installation best practices related to spray polyurethane foam insulation (SPF). This role has a strong focus on safety, quality, productivity, and material yield, while supporting both new and existing SPF Installers. The position works closely with Regional Leaders, Branch Managers, Installation Teams, Sales, Branch Support Center, and key suppliers to drive consistent, safe, and efficient spray foam operations across the organization. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS Support operational teams and branches with training on SPF application, equipment use, and safety practices Troubleshoot technical and operational issues and lead problem resolution efforts in the field Train and develop new and existing SPF Installers Develop, implement, and reinforce spray foam insulation standards and best practices with a focus on safety, environmental compliance, and application quality Develop and share operational best practices to improve productivity, consistency, and performance Support operations leadership in driving key metrics including safety, labor efficiency, material yield, and operating profit Provide technical support in person, by phone, or through virtual platforms (Teams/Zoom) Assist with product testing, evaluations, and field trials Support quality claims, site inspections, root cause analysis, and risk mitigation related to installed spray foam Partner with key suppliers to develop and deliver training, share best practices, and leverage supplier resources Collaborate with Sales, Branch Support Center, and leadership teams as needed Other duties as assigned

Requirements

  • Minimum Degree: Bachelor’s Degree, preferred
  • Minimum experience: 5 years of hands-on experience installing and applying spray foam insulation
  • Required Industry Experience (Construction, Insulation, Trades, etc.): Legal Age Requirements: At least 18 years of age
  • Practical experience with spray foam application, equipment maintenance, troubleshooting, and safety protocols
  • Strong knowledge of spray foam systems, yield optimization, and jobsite best practices
  • Demonstrated commitment to safety, including PPE, ventilation, and compliance with company standards
  • Must meet the requirements of company's Driver Policy, which includes holding a valid driver’s license and maintaining an acceptable driving record.
  • Ability to pass American Chemistry Council (ACC) testing
  • Ability to pass a medical evaluation and fit test for supplied air respirators
  • Strong communication, coaching, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of the organization
  • Excellent communication and training skills
  • Demonstrated ability to influence, develop, and motivate teams from diverse backgrounds
  • Ability to train and develop SPF installers
  • Intermediate proficiency with MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
  • Working knowledge of Teams, Zoom, or similar virtual meeting platforms
  • Practical understanding of business, safety, and quality systems

Nice To Haves

  • Bilingual- English and Spanish (spoken and written), preferred
  • Experience supporting multi-branch or multi-site operations
  • Experience with quality claims, investigations, or remediation of installed spray foam
  • Familiarity with lean manufacturing or continuous improvement principles
  • Knowledge of building science related to insulation and air sealing
