About The Position

This position is at JBS USA. The role requires the ability to comprehend simple instructions, apply common sense, and work in seasonal temperatures year-round. It also requires the ability to stand and use hands for 8-11 hours per day, multitask, and work quickly. Essential duties include moving trailers from dock doors to the drop yard and moving warehouse trailers as needed. The driver will observe equipment operation, notify personnel of malfunctions or safety issues, maintain a clean and organized work area, and assist others with skills and knowledge. Other responsibilities include performing pre-trip safety inspections, fueling spotter trucks and trailers, washing the inside of trailers when needed, starting and stopping units to pre-cool trailers, and communicating with the Load Coordinator, Shipping Supervisor, Forklift operator, and Security Guards. Other duties may be directed as needed.

Requirements

CDL Class A required
Ability to comprehend simple instructions
Ability to apply common sense
Ability to work in seasonal temperatures (year round temperatures)
Ability to stand and use hands for 8-11 hours per day

Responsibilities

Moves trailers from the dock doors to drop yard, moves warehouse trailers as needed
Observes equipment operation, notifying appropriate personnel of any malfunctions and/or safety issues/concerns
Clean and organized work area
Assist others with the skills and knowledge gained from the position
Performs Pre-trip Safety Inspections of truck each day
Fuels Spotter trucks and fuels trailers as needed
Wash inside of trailer when needed
Start and stops units to pre-cool trailers as needed
Communicates with Load Coordinator, Shipping Supervisor, Forklift operator and Security Guards
