Requirements
- MUST be OSHA 10 certified (with card or certificate); will certify if needed.
- Clear verbal and non-verbal communication skills.
- High level of focus; ability to remain undistracted.
- Previous experience in construction
- Must be able to stand for long periods and navigate uneven terrain.
- Knowledge of standard hand signals (training provided)
Responsibilities
- Identifying, marking, and alerting operators to overhead power lines and surface obstructions.
- Ensuring no personnel or obstacles enter the operational, swinging, or blind-spot areas of heavy equipment (e.g., cranes, excavators).
- Maintaining constant, clear communication
- Requires standing near active machinery, requiring intense situational awareness.
