About The Position

The Sportsbook Ticket Writer at Harrah's Laughlin is responsible for providing exceptional customer service in a fast-paced retail sportsbook environment. This role involves assisting both regular and novice bettors with their sports wagering needs, ensuring compliance with company policies and gaming regulations, and fostering a welcoming atmosphere for all customers.

Requirements

• Basic computer knowledge (Email, MS Excel, internet, etc.)
• Minimum of 1 year of cash handling experience in a work setting.
• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent preferred.
• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• Ability to pass a background check.
• Able to obtain a gaming license from the Nevada Gaming Control Board and other jurisdictions as necessary.
• High level of customer service skills.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and some holidays.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to perform simple math calculations.
• Understanding of compliance requirements set by the company and Nevada Gaming Control Board.
