About The Position
Sports reporter for Winona Daily News Help the Winona Daily News captivate and engage audiences by joining our staff as a sports reporter. We are looking for an ambitious reporter with a passion for examining trends and issues involving high school and Winona State University sports while aggressively seeking to break news. The job will be based out of our Winona, Minnesota, office, which is located on the banks of the Mississippi River. There are beautiful state parks nearby and plenty of outdoors opportunities to keep you busy year round. You will be part of a regional sports team that encourages creativity and experimentation in how we tell stories, and there will be ample opportunities to collaborate with colleagues on ideas that interest you. We want to empower you to tell great stories using words, video, audio, graphics and images while ensuring all our stories have the greatest potential to connect with our readers.
Requirements
