About The Position

The HSS Sports Physical Therapy Residency Program is an APTA credentialed residency program. Applications are currently being accepted for a full-time clinical residency providing physical therapists with a one year comprehensive program of clinically-based education and supervised patient care in sports physical therapy. The program is also designed to prepare residents to sit for the ABPTS Sports Certified Specialist (SCS) examination. Locations include NYC and Westchester. A unique opportunity is offered to develop advanced critical reasoning and clinical skills including on-field experience in managing athletic injuries in a structured, supportive environment.

Requirements

• Must be a licensed physical therapist.
• Interest in sports physical therapy.
