Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Nutrition, Dietetics, Sports Nutrition, Business or related field
  • 5+ years of progressive experience in sports nutrition and/or performance foodservice within collegiate and/or professional athletics
  • Proven success leading multi-site or district-level programs and cross-functional teams
  • Experience in contract foodservice, performance hospitality, or managed services
  • Demonstrated expertise in NCAA and/or professional league compliance , including supplement safety and documentation standards
  • Strong financial and operational acumen , with experience managing budgets, food cost, and labor performance
  • Ability to align menus, fueling environments, and culinary execution with performance objectives
  • Willingness and ability to travel up to 50%

  • Experience opening a new business line within an existing brand
  • Background supporting new account launches, transitions, or program standardization
  • Experience leading or mentoring sports dietitians and culinary leaders across multiple sites

Responsibilities

  • Lead sports nutrition strategy and operations across multiple collegiate and professional accounts, standardizing athlete-first fueling with sport-specific flexibility
  • Partner with dietitians, chefs, and operations leaders to convert performance goals into chef-driven, scratch-crafted menus and fueling stations
  • Establish and maintain farm-to-table sourcing standards through transparent local and approved vendor partnerships
  • Direct training tables, team meals, and travel nutrition to ensure consistent quality and measurable impact
  • Pilot, scale, and standardize best practices, driving innovation in athlete dining and sports nutrition
  • Ensure full NCAA, conference, and institutional compliance, including supplement safety and food safety (HACCP/SOPs)
  • Track program KPIs and adjust strategy based on data, outcomes, and athlete feedback
  • Manage budgets, food cost, and labor performance while protecting performance integrity and food quality
  • Recruit and develop sports dietitians and culinary leaders, fostering a culture of REAL Food and excellence
  • Support new account launches and transitions, including standards rollout and program alignment
  • Serve as a trusted partner to athletic departments, performance teams, and corporate stakeholders
  • Perform other duties as assigned
