About The Position

Seasonal Sports Official – Park & Recreation The City of Wilmington is seeking a Seasonal Sports Official for the Parks & Recreation Department. Under the direction of the Athletic Coordinator, Sports Officials are responsible for officiating athletic contest for the Wilmington Parks and Recreation athletic programs. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF THE POSITION: Under the direction of the Athletic Coordinator, Sports Officials are responsible for officiating athletic contest for the Wilmington Parks and Recreation athletic programs. Officials are expected to keep contest safe, under control, and ran in a timely manner. This position also requires officials to act professionally and to serve as role models for participants.

Requirements

• Must be at least 16 years of age.
• Ability to follow written and verbal directions.
• Position requires ability to run for extended periods of time.
