About The Position

The Sports Official Youth I-III position is responsible for officiating youth athletic events in various sports including soccer, softball, basketball, and volleyball. This role requires a thorough understanding of the rules and regulations of each sport, as well as the ability to enforce them fairly and consistently. The official will work closely with coaches, players, and parents to ensure a positive and safe environment for youth sports participation. This position may involve working evenings and weekends, depending on the scheduling of games and events.

Requirements

• Must have a thorough understanding of the rules of soccer, softball, basketball, and volleyball.
• Previous experience officiating youth sports is preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to make quick decisions and remain calm under pressure.

Nice To Haves

• Certification in officiating from a recognized organization.
