About The Position

Ultimate Autographs, a sports memorabilia company, is looking for a full-time Sales Manager to join our team in our Burr Ridge, IL office. We’re looking for someone who is enthusiastic about winning and enhancing the customer experience within the sports memorabilia industry. You are a critical thinker that is authentic, tenacious, selfless, possesses a unique ability, and is on the ball. This candidate will work collaboratively with multiple business functions in a team environment. Role Summary : As our Sales Manager, a leadership level position, you'll be responsible for driving revenue and new customer acquisition growth across three key business units: wholesale B2B sales, corporate events, and sales growth for our live breakrooms. This role requires a data-driven sales leader who can build systems, coach teams, and execute against aggressive growth targets. Requirements

  • 5+ years B2B sales experience – B2C experience also preferred
  • 3+ years in sales management/leadership.
  • Proven track record of exceeding quota.
  • Experience managing multiple business divisions in small startup event environments, including leading teams of 20+ people.
  • Strong proficiency in sales reporting, scorecards and data analysis skills.
  • Excellent communication and coaching abilities.
  • Comfortable with accountability and aggressive sales targets.
  • Thrives using data, scorecards, and coaching conversations.
  • Someone who is capable of working independently and succeeding with minimal leadership guidance

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in sports, events, live entertainment, live sales, influencer sales, or collectibles industries preferred.
  • Enjoys the strategy and tactics of launching new products and services.

Responsibilities

  • B2B Wholesale Sales : Develop and execute a B2B wholesale sales strategy. Manage relationships and business development activities across memorabilia dealers, retailers, and corporate buyers.
  • Live Event Sales Strategy and Attendee Acquisition (new start up) : Design, build, implement, & oversee outbound sales efforts for athlete experience events such as golf, dinners and speaking engagements. Build target account lists and close the required amount of attendees/participants.
  • Breakroom Sales Management : Monitor breakroom performance and provide coaching and accountability, roleplay, content implementation, talent optimization, idea creation and implementation for live studios (breakrooms) involving multiple sales personalities to improve metrics such as: Life Time Gross Profit via: Average Order Value (AOV) Repeat purchase rate Conversion rate New Customer Acquisition and Experience Management Increase close ratio (live viewers to products sold) Customer education and experience enhancement
  • Sales Pipeline & Forecasting : Maintain contact database and work with general manager and digital marketing manager to drive campaigns, activity and results. Track all data and success metrics.
  • Team Leadership : Recruit, train, and manage sales team members.
