About The Position
We are looking for a Sports Medicine Physician to join our growing medical team full time at our offices in the greater Alexandria/Washington DC area of Lorton and Fredericksburg, VA. Our practice is expanding and we are seeking a Physician with a Sports Medicine Fellowship to join our collaborative, patient-focused team. Work alongside PT, pain management, and rehab specialists in a modern, integrated care model—so you can focus on delivering results, not running a practice. We will consider MD/DO’s who have completed residency programs in Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, Emergency Medicine, or PM&R if they have completed a Sports Medicine Fellowship.
Requirements
- MD/DO Completion of an accredited residency program (Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, Emergency Medicine, or PM&R)
- Sports Medicine fellowship (required)
- Active Virginia medical license & DEA
- Strong procedural and patient care skills
Responsibilities
- Evaluate and treat musculoskeletal & sports-related injuries
- Perform in-office procedures (joint injections, ultrasound-guided, PRP, trigger point)
- Create rehab-focused, non-surgical treatment plans
- Collaborate with PT, pain management, and specialists
- Maintain efficient EHR documentation
