About The Position
The Sports Medicine Physician (SMP) plays a crucial role in supporting the health and performance of athletes by evaluating and treating illnesses and injuries. Reporting to the Lead Health Care Services Provider, the SMP collaborates closely with the US Olympic and Paralympic Committee's Chief Medical Officer and other medical staff. This position requires clinical competence, continuous state licensure, and experience in sports and general medical practice. The SMP is responsible for providing high-quality healthcare services, developing case management plans, and maintaining compliance with medical standards and regulations.
