About The Position

Florida Atlantic University is seeking a Sports Field Monitor. This position is responsible for opening and closing indoor and outdoor facilities during Sport Programs events, responding to all medical or weather emergencies, enforcing department and university policies and procedures, ensuring the security of participants, spectators, facility, and equipment, assisting with accident and incident response in accordance with the Emergency Action Plan, maintaining a clean environment in and around all facilities, performing other related duties as assigned within the scope of the position, and attending all required meetings and trainings.

Requirements

• FAU degree-seeking undergraduate student with a minimum of six credit hours (or twelve if international)
• Minimum GPA of 2.5 required

Responsibilities

• Responsible for opening and closing indoor and outdoor facilities during Sport Programs events
• Respond to all medical or weather emergencies, as they arise
• Enforce department and university policies and procedures
• Ensure security of participants, spectators, facility, & equipment
• Assist with accident and incident response in accordance with the Emergency Action Plan
• Maintain a clean environment in and around all facilities
• Perform other related duties as assigned within the scope of the position
• Attend all required meetings and trainings
