About The Position

The University of Nevada, Las Vegas William F. Harrah College of Hospitality is conducting a search for a full-time, 9-month, tenure-track or tenured faculty position at the Associate or Full Professor ranks in the department of Resort, Gaming, and Golf Management commencing January 2026. Rank will be dependent upon education and experience, as outlined below in the qualifications section. The successful candidate will work on a strong and active research program with the potential for journal publications, conference presentations, and external funding; teach undergraduate and graduate courses, supervise graduate students; and engage in department, college, and university service activities. This faculty member may be responsible for teaching courses in one or more of the following subject areas: Sports Management, Sports and Entertainment Management, and/or related classes.

Requirements

  • Ph.D. in Hospitality Management or equivalent terminal degree from an accredited college or university.
  • Experience and research activity consistent with UNLV standards and aspirations for Associate Professor (tenure-track).
  • Experience and research activity consistent with UNLV standards and aspirations for Associate Professor (tenured).
  • Experience and research activity consistent with UNLV standards and aspirations for Full Professor (tenured).
