About The Position
Action Sports Chiropractic & Family Wellness is seeking a dedicated, compassionate, and experienced Sports and Family Chiropractor to join our team in Sorrento Mesa, San Diego. This part-time position offers an immediate opening for a qualified candidate to provide care for both new and existing patients in a supportive and collaborative environment. Our center specializes in sports medicine, human performance, and pain management, and we pride ourselves on delivering high-quality, personalized care to our clients. The ideal candidate will be part of an all-female team that includes a lead chiropractor, acupuncturist, and massage therapist, with plans to expand our provider types in the near future. The role requires maintaining a current and valid Chiropractic license in California, along with excellent skills in diversified and extremity adjusting techniques, as approximately 60% of our patients seek treatment for extremity and sports-related injuries. The successful applicant will be well-versed in physiotherapies and manual techniques such as Active Release Techniques (ART), SFMA, IASTM, Graston, and Kinesiotaping, and must demonstrate a willingness to learn new techniques to ensure consistent care alongside the lead chiropractor. A background as a Certified Athletic Trainer, Physical Therapy Assistant, or completion of post-graduate work in Sports Chiropractic is essential. Candidates should possess strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and sports-related musculoskeletal injuries, with prior certification as a CCSP or NSCA being a plus. In this role, you will be expected to conduct comprehensive orthopedic and functional examinations, develop personalized treatment plans, and educate patients about their conditions and treatment options. Collaboration with other healthcare professionals is crucial to ensure comprehensive care and referrals. The position offers flexible hours, with shifts on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays, and the possibility of additional hours if desired. Importantly, there are no holiday shifts required, allowing for a better work-life balance. Our office environment is designed to be family-focused and care-oriented, providing a stark contrast to high-volume clinics. We emphasize quality over quantity, offering various chiropractic options to our patients and maintaining a predominantly cash practice.
