Sports Camp Counselor - Midlothian YMCA
About The Position
Midlothian Family YMCA is seeking part-time sports camp counselors to help with our summer sports camp program. There will be a multitude of sports such as soccer, basketball, kickball, flag football, floor hockey and dodgeball. This part time position starts at $14.00 per hour. We are asking that all counselors are available 9 of the 11 weeks during the Summer. Requirements
- Sports specialist should know the basic rules of the sport
- Work well with young people
- Be able to multitask
- Communicate effectively with parents and children
- Enjoyment of sports
- Enjoyment of being outdoors
- Enjoyment of working with young people
- Be available 9 of the 11 weeks during the Summer
Responsibilities
- Sports specialists should be available to work evenings and weekends to help facilitate practices and games.
