Requirements

  • Must be 21 or older.
  • Must have high school diploma or GED equivalent.
  • Must have outgoing, energetic and enthusiastic attitude.
  • Must enjoy hosting and serving others.
  • Must be comfortable initiating conversations and creating a fun environment with our guests.
  • Able to promptly and accurately follow instructions given by Supervisor or Manager.
  • Must qualify for licensing by Ohio Lottery Commission.
  • Must be able to work as a team.
  • Must be able to tolerate a high stimulus environment.
  • Must be able to work at a very fast pace and walk long distances throughout the shift.
  • Must be able to pass a background check.
  • Must have open availability including all three shifts, weekends, and holidays.
  • Must be able to respond to visual and oral cues.
  • Must meet professional appearance standards as prescribed by company policy.
  • Must be comfortable and capable of learning new software.

Responsibilities

  • Foster a fun environment.
  • Be a gracious host to all guests and co-workers.
  • Promote a positive influence in the community and participate in company-sponsored events.
  • Ensure interactions with internal and external guests follow the guidelines of the ACES Service Program.
  • Monitor guest consumption of alcohol and intervene as needed according to company policy and T.I.P.S training.
  • Promote gaming events and promotions.
  • Process cash and credit card transactions for guests while maintaining the integrity of all financial controls and responsibilities.
  • Maintain a clean and stocked workstation.
  • Comply with state, company, and department policies and regulations.
  • Serve, pre-buss, buss, and clean your section and your teammates' section.
  • Roll silverware and clean during downtime.
  • Perform all opening and closing side work at the direction of your supervisor or manager.
  • Help team members ensure guests are served in a timely manner.
  • Expedite and run food for all tables.
  • Keep the restaurant clean, organized, and sanitized.
  • Understand and articulate the menu and drinks to guests.
  • Tip out bartenders.
  • Stock and clean your section.
  • Participate in end of shift rolling silverware and completion of side work, as a team.
  • Work special events, as needed.
  • Other duties, as needed.
