About The Position
The person will be the Anchor/Producer of our Weekend Sportscasts. They will also fill in on our other Sportscasts, including a High School Football Show. Position also requires the person to work as a Sports MMJ three (3) days per week, covering local sporting events and features.
Requirements
- A four-year degree in Broadcast Journalism, Communications, or a related field is preferred.
- Candidates must have working knowledge of High School and College Sports.
Nice To Haves
- Experience covering sporting events is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Shoot, write, edit, produce, and anchor sports coverage
- Be able to lift to 30 pounds of equipment
- Have a clean driving record
- Bring a story, work ethic, and positive attitude to the job
