Sport Instructor Multi-Sport
About The Position
The Sport Instructor is a hands-on role that will lead athletes and provides expert instruction in their designated sport. The Sport Instructor is directly responsible for providing the i9 Sports Experience and driving a positive youth sports culture on the field. i9 Sports is the nation's first and largest youth sports league franchise business, founded on the principle that the number one reason kids play organized sports is to have fun. They offer youth sports leagues, camps, and clinics for kids ages 3-17 in popular sports such as flag football, soccer, basketball, volleyball, and baseball, focusing on fun, safety, convenience, and good sportsmanship.
Requirements
- Excellent communication skills
- Sport-specific coaching experience & knowledge
- Highly motivated self-starter; can work independently
- Commitment: Please be committed and do not call-out last minute
- Ability to work a varied work schedule including weekends and some evenings (for the full duration of the season, ~7 weeks)
Responsibilities
- Setting up & Break down of fields/courts.
- Reffing & Coaching
- Lead practice sessions focusing on fundamentals, skill development, and fun
- Teach & demonstrate core concepts including Sportsmanship values
- With the help of established platforms, communicate game day information to prayers and parents
- Consistently demonstrate a positive attitude and superior customer service skills
