About The Position

The Building Coordinator at the Schaumburg Park District is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the Sport Center during weekends when the Manager or Assistant Manager is unavailable. This role focuses on ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for all guests, managing facility cleanliness, and supporting staff in their duties. The Building Coordinator plays a crucial role in maintaining the facility's operational standards and addressing any participant concerns.

Requirements

• High School diploma is required.
• Some college experience is preferred.
• Ability to earn First Aid, Child & Adult CPR, and AED certifications.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily functions of the Sport Center in the absence of the Manager or Assistant Manager.
• Ensure guests are treated in a friendly, courteous, and respectful manner.
• Supervise the proper opening and closing procedures of the facility.
• Direct and assist with room set-ups and takedowns.
• Assist with maintenance duties to maintain facility cleanliness.
• Act as a support person and resource for all facility staff.
• Communicate staff issues or participant concerns to the Manager and/or Assistant Manager.
